J’ai donc testé 4 shampoings solides made in France !
Voir l’article
I constantly have people asking me where to shop for natural/organic beauty products and the main reason they give me when they are doing this is that they feel not only overwhelmed by the selection of shops available but also that they have no way of telling which is the best. The one repeating theme seems to be that everyone feels completely lost within this marketplace as there doesn’t seem to be a clear and decisive market leader. The funniest part of this is that it was these exact same people who I used to hear complaining that there weren’t enough options of shops they could go to buy their natural beauty products. It now seems that everyday there is new online green shop opening and while we are all grateful for the ever expanding choice and competition the downside is that it just seems to add to the growing confusion. The next complaint that follows soon after is of course that with the huge number of naturals brands joining this marketplace these same people have no idea what to purchase as they scroll through the thousands of options on the thousands of shops! A few days ago I introduced you to some of my favourite vegetable oils. So today it’s the turn of the essential oils! I love using them so much that they are part of my daily life and I use them for huge variety of different things. Lots of people I know often use them for health problems and cleaning their houses but as always here I just focus on beauty. I must state now however that essential oils can be harmful if not used carefully as they highly concentrated, powerful and highly potent. This is the reason why in most cases just a few drops will suffice. Make sure to do your own research into specific application and usages. Essential oils are also forbidden for pregnant women and children under 3 years old and even for small children above 3 years of age you should still check with a doctor! What I am saying here is basically be very careful and don’t use them if you are at all unsure. So now we have covered the scary parts let’s get back to the goodness……here is a quick overview of my favorite essential oils and how I use them. Voir l’article
Around a month ago I was contacted by Dawn De La Fuente the founder of S/He Studio, a natural brand that handcrafts organic skincare, bodycare and haircare products. All the products are made using highly quality ingredients as Dawn truly believes in plant medicine and natural products and is a well respected herbalist in the San Francisco area. I had no previous knowledge of her brand but as soon as I saw her products I started to salivate over them just from the packaging alone. I really love her website too so I was super excited when I received the trio of products she sent for me to test out. So over the last month I have been using them and I finally feel ready to give a little insight into what I have found. Voir l’article
