Today, all my attentions have been focused on organic makeup, more specifically the latest new products from Absolution which were created in collaboration with make-up artist Christophe Danchaud! Absolution is a French natural cosmetic brand certified organic by Ecocert. They have a wide range of skincare and bodycare products as well as a range of makeup. Recently, they expanded their makeup line to include three new products: a mascara, an eyeliner and four shades of concealer.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to test these little cuties so i could give my impression………….and make sure you read to the very end of the review as there is a wicked little surprise!!
Sweet & Safe Black Mascara – This is actually the best organic mascara I’ve ever tried ! I’m always looking for a mascara that gives volume and length and finding an organic one that combines both is not easy. I have been using this one for several days now and I must say that I am literally seduced! It keeps my lashes curled all day and gives a good length and volume. If you want a natural effect, one layer is enough, but by putting several layers you can achieve a really nice volume (advice: let a little dry between each layer). Its intense black color is superb and its organic composition is a little slice of perfection. It contains, among others, castor and abyssinian oil which are known for their nourishing and fortifying properties so you are taking care of your eyelashes every time you wear it.

Sweet & Safe Black Eyeliner – I’ll be honest, I’m not very good at applying eyeliner. I’ll call myself beginner level and I find that this type of liquid format is not easy to handle. At first try, the application was difficult but after a couple of attempts I managed to make a semblance of line. I think I’ll have to practise a bit more!! That said, I really like the fact that it’s long lasting and didn’t smudge all day. The color is very black and the formulation is based on natural mineral pigments. In the end, I think it will be brilliant for those who are already used to handling this type of eyeliner, however for beginners like me it could be a little tricky. I think this may say a lot more about me than the product ultimately though!

Sweet & Safe Le Multi Correcteur – So this is my definite favourite! I can’t do without this product anymore! It’s formulation is wonderful! It contains chlorella (helps to combat redness and dark circles), green coffee extract (reduces puffiness and firming skin) and cornflower water (soothes swollen, tired eyes). I use it to erase dark circles and conceal redness and blemishes. The shade I chose is 02, it may look dark compared to my hand but on my face it’s the perfect color. I apply it with my finger which helps it melt into my skin better. The creamy texture blends perfectly with the skin without creasing, covering just what is needed. Impressively, it doesn’t dry out the contour of my eye and on the contrary, moisturizes it well. I loved that it hides dark circles really well and has a completely natural look!

Avec plaisir Laeti ! Si tu les testes dis moi ce que tu en penses :)
Gorgeous photographs! I’ve only tried the Absolution eye cream, which I found very nice and light-reflecting. I’m now interested in the corrector! It looks a little dark for me, but I’ll give it a swatch if I get a chance!

Thanks a lot Laura :)) I’m using the eye cream too and really like it. The corrector comes in a lighter shade which might be better suited to your skin tone.
Merci beaucoup :-)
