Today I would like to introduce you to my new hair product crush……..the Neutral Basis range from Waam. I have been lustfully spying on Waam’s products for ages now and desperately wanted to try them out as I have heard so many great things about them on social media. Impressively for me though, I managed to be a proper adult for once and show some restraint and wait until I had time to test and review them properly on my blog!
Waam is a natural beauty brand that not only produce the Neutral Basis range but also a selection of raw products, carrier oils, clays, butters and floral waters. Their products are certified organic and vegan and are of course not tested on animals. The core idea behind this range is that you buy the base and then customise it to your specific requirements to create your own bespoke products. If you are a fan of natural beauty and homemade cosmetics then I am pretty sure you’ll treasure this brand just as much as I do! I absolutely love unearthing amazing little discoveries like this!
Today, all my attentions have been focused on organic makeup, more specifically the latest new products from Absolution which were created in collaboration with make-up artist Christophe Danchaud! Absolution is a French natural cosmetic brand certified organic by Ecocert. They have a wide range of skincare and bodycare products as well as a range of makeup. Recently, they expanded their makeup line to include three new products: a mascara, an eyeliner and four shades of concealer.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to test these little cuties so i could give my impression………….and make sure you read to the very end of the review as there is a wicked little surprise!! View Post
It’s been a few weeks since La Canopée secured a place as part of my daily routine. It’s a new natural brand which launched around 5 months ago by Juliette and Cecile. The brand includes several ranges and offers skincare and bodycare products, all of which are 100% natural. Their products are vegan, cruelty free and made in the south of France, more precisely in Grasse. I received six products from them which actually makes up a relatively full skincare routine. I have almost finished them all so it’s time to make an assessment and share my opinion on these products.
If, like me, your skin often feels tight and dehydrated then this great and simple to make homemade mask is definitely for you. The basic ingredient is banana powder which is an absolute must in my bathroom. I love this powder so much and I use it all the time!
In this post I am going to go through the steps to make this amazing moisturizing and purifying mask which is perfect for all skin types and will help your skin feel wonderfully soft, smooth and supple.
I shared one of my favourite DIY recipes for dry and fine hair on my Instagram Stories a few weeks ago. It had such positive feedback I thought I should share it on my blog for anyone who missed it or doesn’t follow me Instagram.
As I can personally attest, Dry and fine hair is a chore to maintain. It requires special attention and without regular care can end up brittle, dull and dehydrated. It also has a tendency to get tangled very easily.
As a great remedy to save your mane there is nothing better than a good homemade hair mask. Especially one made from a mixture of nourishing carrier oils and ingredients with moisturizing properties.
Here is a simple recipe to revive your dry hair.
