Let me introduce you to my recent crush, the Bio-Correct concealer from W3LL PEOPLE! In winter I constantly seem to have tired & puffy eyes so concealer is the one product I can’t survive without and I wear everyday without exception. W3LL PEOPLE is an American green beauty brand that I have been eyeing up for ages. I took advantage of the Black Friday sales to treat myself and finally bought some of their products. I’m glad to say the products are absolutely awesome and not a single one of them was a disappointment! For the moment let’s just focus on the concealer and I will feature the the other gems soon!
First off let me say that packaging it in a tube is a brilliant idea as it’s both convenient and hygienic! You can easily control the exact amount of product needed which means far less wastage. The ingredient list is claimed by the brand to be 100% natural but I looked and saw at the end of the list there is some triethoxycaprylylsilane which is, I believe, a silicone? Even after some quite extensive research I am still not 100% certain so I am going to try and look further into this and ask around. I don’t mind it too much as it is right at the end of the ingredients list so it means that it is a very tiny amount and therefore could be negligible. If any of you guys know definitively then please do leave a comment below! The rest of the list is clean as far as i can see so hopefully the brand is correct in their claims and i can learn something new. Some of the interesting ingredients include: Caffeine (helps de-puff the eyes), pomegranate (prevents damage caused due to free radicals), organic algae extracts (brightens the skin) and anti-ageing peptides (boosts collagen production).
The texture of this concealer is so nice and creamy it allows you to apply it using just your finger as it blends into the skin so easily. You only need the tiniest dab to cover under eye discolouration. The formulation allows the concealer to literally melt into the skin giving it a smooth natural finish with no cakeyness. It has what I would describe as medium coverage but I don’t have really dark circles under my eyes so it’s just about perfect for me. I would advise that if you do have this issue then I am not sure how suitable it will be for you. It feels so light and moisturizing and instantly makes me look more awake, naturally brightening my under-eye area. I don’t even feel the need to apply a powder to set it as it lasts all day without creasing but make sure you don’t over apply as too much product definitely will start to crease. I had quite hard time choosing the shade as the range is slightly limited, there are only 4 shades, so I took my chances and bought the color named Fair which thankfully suits my skintone well.
This concealer is by far the best I’ve ever used if you are looking for a moderate coverage concealer that gives a nice natural and luminous under eye. I will definitely be recommending this product to everyone from now on! Have you tried this product too?
