Hair Oil and Massage Oil Review – Natural Organicare

I spent last weekend chilling out and just pampering myself as I rarely get the chance as life in London always seems to be pretty hectic. I decided to take the chance to test and review a set of oils that I was sent from Natural Organicare. I started with the hair oil Hot Shot suitable for thinning hair and these are marketed as one off treatment hits for your hair. Although I think with the amount I probably could have perhaps stretched it to two treatments. Even though it says best to apply it to wet hair I actually left it on my dry hair overnight which is the second option. I really liked the super small tube that enabled me to apply the oil directly to my scalp as often with oils the manner of application causes them to be a real nuisance. Once I had applied the oil to my scalp I massaged it in which stimulates the hair growth (which as a great by product is just a really relaxing and enjoyable thing to do). Then once I have done this fully I then proceed to apply the oil to the rest of my hair. The next day the oil left my hair really soft and light and felt nice and bouncy. I should say that it’s hard to make a full appraisal without few try’s of a product. I would need to use it a few more times to see whether it truly is having a proper effect. I have to be honest and say that the smell really wasn’t to my taste but that’s just personal opinion and other people may love it! I have a feeling that this may be the carrot oil as I seem to remember not liking that previously. This one shot will be great for traveling and taking away with you on holiday!

Ingredients: Carthamus Tinetorious Seed Oil, Camelia Oleifera Seed Oil, Mentha Piperita Oil, Carota Daucus seed oil, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil

I have literally just this minute tested the massage oil Bliss Blend on my very excited boyfriend who kept nagging me to test this over any other product I have ever received…..not much of a surprise there though. The smell this time was far more pleasant and reminded both of us of having a massage on a beach somewhere! It was very smooth and he said through half open eyes how relaxed he felt and how much he loved the massage. To the touch his skin felt silky soft and not sticky at all and it seemed to be absorbed into his skin really well. I can say that both massager and massagee really liked the oil and the experience. Also there was far more of this oil so we can test it again on few other dates and make sure the results were replicated and that we still feel the same way!

Finally there is the flaky scalp oil which also smells nice and seems much more inviting to use. However I have never had any issues with dandruff or flaky scalp so I really can’t comment on how effective it is. Also I know that usually this issue needs repetitive application and use to try and help and one use will literally do vey little. Perhaps I need to find someone who can buy the product and use it for an extended period of time to then tell me the efficacy! It seems like a very nice combination of ingredients but as I said I can’t really comment too deeply on this due to those issues.

I love the fact that all of these oils are hand made in the UK which is always something I want to support as much as possible. These oils had some really good points, particularly that they use certified organic ingredients and are reasonably priced. As always when I am sent tester sizes (or one off treatments) though it’s impossible to give any sort of in depth review as many other factors could easily be the variables that have more of an impact that the products themselves!
