DIY Anti-Frizz Hair Serum

DIY Easy Anti-Frizz Hair Serum

I have to say that having fine, dry, wavy hair really is a complete nightmare. It doesn’t seem to be able to handle anything no matter whether it’s heat, brushing, humidity, wind…..literally nothing! I have to devote so much extra time and care in an attempt to avoid looking like a Yeti with hay for hair! Having learnt this fact well enough over the years I now always use either a cream or a serum on my hair in the vain attempt to help smooth and control the frizz. I usually opt for either the 2moss cream or alternatively my own personal hand made serum which works wonders! Even though I love the bought product I have to say (and I could be just a smidgen biased) but my hair absolutely adores the serum! It does everything I need and gives a spectacular softness and shine whilst providing nutrition and controlling the frizz. As always I have tried to ensure that it is super fast to make and really easy to do so that everyone can have this serum in their hair product arsenals at all times……in fact this is probably the easiest recipe to make in the world!

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together well in a bowl and pour it in a bottle using a funnel (see I told you it was simple!). To apply the serum just put 2-3 drops on mid-length and ends of your hair. This serum can be kept for 6 months but make sure to always use sterilised tools and bottle and to also keep it away from the light! This serum combines loads of hugely beneficial carrier oils and essential oils specifically targeted for hair!

. KuKui oil is an excellent detangler so if you have fine hair that tangles easily like I do then this oil is great.

. Broccoli oil is a great substitute for silicones. I often use this on its own as a serum. It gives hair softness, shine and it’s smoothing effect helps control the frizz.

. Macadamia oil protect hair from windy cold weather

. Jojoba Oil adds shine and softness

. Hazelnut oil makes hair supple and less brittle

. Grapeseed strengthens hair

. Orange essential oil has a pleasant fruity sweet smell. It restores shine to damaged and tarnished hair.

. Ylang Ylang essential oil illuminates dull hair and makes it shine.

. Coco Silicone helps to tame hair

The mix penetrates the hair quickly providing excellent moisture without weighing it down or leaving a greasy effect. You will see a distinct change in your hair finding it far less rough and dull and noticeably more healthy! If you think that your hair needs more hydration than nourishment then just add some aloe vera to the mixture! If you like to cover your hair with a stronger scent feel free add a natural fragrance (there are lots of different scents available to buy from Aroma-Zone) although ylang ylang and orange essential oils already give a nice subtle smell!
