Neighbourhood Botanicals Night Face Oil – Review

Neighbourhood Botanicals Night Face Oil - Review

Let me introduce you to my new night face oil ! I just can’t get over how cute the name of this product is…….ready…….it’s called…….Dream Dream Dream!! I received it from a brand located in Berlin called Neighbourhood. The owner references her childhood growing up in Australia as one of the main driving factors behind her creating and developing Neighbourhood. Upon first glimpse of their website I instantly fell in love with the cute packaging but the fact that all their products are designed with non-irritant and non-comedogenic ingredients then piqued my interest even further. Everything they make is entirely plant-based, absolutely all natural and without even a hit of a nasty!

I’ve been using this oil for a few weeks now and I’m really loving it. This is a night time oil designed for all skin types. It comes in a cute glass bottle which reminds me of a classic old style perfume and is equipped with a pipette applicator. No matter how much I love pump bottles i absolutely adore this type of packaging as it is very easy to apply and you don’t waist any of the product as you can control exactly how much you need. I must admit I’m not a huge fan of the scent as i found it slightly over powering. I much prefer light subtle smells but it didn’t bother me enough to prevent me using it and i am certain others will really like it.  The texture is very light and melts into the skin almost instantly leaving no oily residue.

Neighbourhood Botanicals Night Face Oil - Review

So, now to the most important part, what’s in it? This face oil is packed with a combination of over 13 botanical and essential oils which makes it full of goodness including Vitamins A, C, E, B, Omegas 3, 6… everything we want our skin to be fed with.^^ It contains:

Apricot Kernel Oil which is a brilliant emollient.

Rosehip Oil is amazing at reducing sun damage and scarring. (This is one of this oils I used to reduce my acne scars and it worked well).

Moringa Seed Oil helps heal acne blemishes and prevents new breakouts.

Wheatgerm Oil is known as one of the best oils to support collagen production and maintain even skin tone.

Blackcurrant oil helps minimising the appearance of fine lines.

So you get the idea, this oil has a really nice combination of ingredients that moisturise, nourish the skin while simultaneously calming and replenishing it! All you need is 3-4 drops to cover all your entire face so it’s very economical. I love products like this as it means the bottle will last for ages and they are a great investment! I apply it now each night and it leaves my skin glowing, refreshed and well moisturised.
