100% Pure – Caffeine and Bright Eyes Sheet Masks Review

100% Pure Caffeine Mask Review

I found out about a brand I have never encountered before while I was on holiday in America called 100% Pure. As I pride myself on my knowledge of the natural beauty industry I always feel an equal mix of surprise, excitement and a little annoyance if I have never heard of the brand before. I had to kill a few hours before my flight home so I decided to wander around a mall near the airport in LA and spotted a shop that was advertised as being all natural so I thought why not have a quick look around. I wish I had found out about this shop before the very end of my holiday after spending every penny in my account. I was pleasantly surprised by the range of products on display including makeup, skincare, bodycare and haircare…….I didn’t know where to begin. I didn’t have much time to check everything and unfortunately even less money (check out my US haul here and hereyou’ll see exactly what I mean when I say I overspent quite drastically hahahahaha) so I was forced to control myself and managed to leave with just 2 sheet masks, the Caffeine Mask and Bright Eyes Mask.

100% Pure Caffeine Sheet Masks

It was the Caffeine mask which really intrigued me and caught my eye as I absolutely loved the way it looked, so fun and different! It really reminds me of a grumpy face and I was excited just to see what it would look like on my face (which can sometimes look a bit too grumpy without the help of any masks^^). The Caffeine mask is a hydrogel mask packaged in clear water and it’s made of Aloe Vera Juice, Green Coffee extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Organic Green Tea Extract, Seaweed Collagen, Vitamin C and more. The texture is crazy, it’s like hard jelly!! It’s slimy and slippery so I would advise you to lie down once you have placed it on your face. It fits well over your face though, not too big and not too small. I kept taking photos of myself and laughing as I looked like a complete nutter. My boyfriend said it looked like I was wearing some sort of Hannibal Lecter like skin mask, that’s how creepy it is!! Anyway, I really enjoyed it as it feels cooling, refreshing and relaxing. After 20 minutes I took it off and rinsed my face but unfortunately I couldn’t really notice any difference in my skin apart from it feeling nice and soft. It didn’t feel like it soaked into my skin but perhaps I should have left it much longer. I also wonder if I needed to use it more than once for any visible improvements but seeing as I was expecting immediate results it was a little bit of a disappointment to me. I am very curious to know what any of you guys thought about this mask if you tried it as personally I feel a bit disappointed.

100% Bright Eyes Mask Review

On the other hand, the Eye Masks were amazing and performed far better. I saw instant results with the puffiness around my eyes being reduced and the entire area was left much brighter, I’m definitely impressed with them. They are the same type of mask and texture as the caffeine one, so also very cooling and refreshing, but they aren’t as slippery so you can move around and keep doing things whilst having them on your face! They are packed with loads of goodness like Aloe Vera Juice, Camellia Sinensis, Matcha Green Tea, Cucumber Hydrosol, Vitamin C, Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid. I used them in the morning, after having just few hours sleep, in the vain attempt to get rid of the huge bags under my eyes and look like a human! The magic completely worked and I looked much more awake and you know what……..I’ve already purchased the pack of 5!

If you want to try out either of these masks then you can find them here on the 100% Pure website but I definitely know which one I am going to plump for from now on!
