Easy DIY scalp scrub recipe

I always find most conversations about exfoliation nearly always centre around the face and body and yet I rarely ever hear about exfoliation of your scalp even though using a hair scrub is just as important! Just like the rest of the body, the skin of the scalp needs to get refreshed once in a while!

Your scalp not only accumulates dead skin cells, in the form of dandruff, but also the residues of styling products, dry shampoos, pollution and  excess of sebum leaving it suffocated and greasy.

To get rid of all these impurities and to help unclog pores I do a scrub once a month. This really helps cleanse and purify your scalp so it will not only be able to breathe but also be more receptive to shampoo, hair mask… enabling them to penetrate better and be more effective. It will also activate the blood microcirculation which facilitates the growth of hair. This all basically just means that scrubbing the scalp will be extremely beneficial for the health of the hair.

So, if you are interested in trying a scalp scrub then I have made a really simple recipe that is super easy to make. View Post
